A friend who flies competitive FPV250 quadcopter racers wanted some angled motor mounts that would reduce drag when flying forward. He found some 10 degree angled mounts on Thingiverse, but the bolt pattern was rotated 45 degrees, which did not match his airframe. After looking at the Thingiverse model, I sketched out a set of mounts in about an hour. The first set printed pretty nicely, weighing only 9 grams. But I didn't like how thin the bottom pieces were. I added 2mm to the thickness and printed out another set which weighed 11g. This is the set that Patrick installed on his airframe, and he said that they really improved his speed.
